Sorry, Ausable Chasm does not have any zip lines. For those looking for a bit more adventure than what our hiking trails and float tours have to offer we have two tyrolean traverses and two rappels on our rappelling tour and we also have an exciting via ferrata called the Adventure Trail. A via ferrata has similarities to a cable course, but still quite different. It contains several cable bridges that cross of the raging Ausable River as well as daring cliff walks and ladder rungs installed into he rock walls. Thank You
Yes as long as you hold their hand while on the trails, some areas have steep dropoffs.
It may take 1 1/2 - 2 hours to get through the course. If they raft, 3 hours
There are but call ahead to make sure they are running them.
Yes
I had a Nikon D7100 and my wife had her Nikon D5000....I saw no signs posted about "no photography" and we paid a $20 each admission fee.
There is no guide, except at the spot where you have to get off before the rapids. You have to walk about 1 mile to arrive at the tubing station. As for the tubing itself, it depends on the winds and other things but I'd say about 1 hour...
No pets allowed. Service animals are only permitted in Welcome Center and limited trails.
Good food and friendly staff
Not a fan of the pizza. We got an extra large cheese pizza and a small buffalo pizza and it cost 27.97 over priced. Extra large was the size of a large pizza.
A great choice after a hike for the best pizza and wings, you will be dreaming about the entire time your hiking! I try to hike in this region just to reward myself with the food here. Its awesome.
East Village pizza in the north country. I kid you not, this is astonishingly tasty pizza, good crust, good cheese, good toppings, expertly prepared. And at a regular working guy price. They have a bar, but my review is written from more than a dozen visits (and I live in Pennsylvania), none of them alcohol fueled.GET SOME!!!
Best pizza around
Good food and good service.
Been going here since I was a little kid during summers visiting family and friends. My parents and grandparents have been going since the 1950s. It's not what it was back in the day, but a good pizza and laid back atmosphere is available if you want it.
Food was good service good but room was very cold, heating with Wood stove, furniture same as when we were there 30 years ago
Good food
Very good food, and fast delivery.
Waited 2 hours for a pizza
Best pizza ever and french fries with turkey gravy is amazing!
Good pizza
The drinking water is not very clean. The food is mediocre at best. When I was a teenager back in the 80s, the North Country Club was one of the top places to go to eat. And now I work a customer service job and I will not send customers there. It's sad to see the quality of service go down the way it has.
Always Good Food! Atmosphere may be dated, however, good things don't change for the sake of being fashionable. Try Clare and Carl's in Plattsburgh and you'll understand!!! YUMMY!!!
Very friendly, courteous service. Price were reasonable. Clean , nostalgic atmosphere.
I've had pizza all over this country. I've never had a better tasting pizza that they serve up at the North Country Club. The perfect combination of an awesome sauce, tasty toppings and it even has me eating the crust (which I hardly ever do). I've had this pizza my whole life and it's simply the best Pizza in my opinion.
No better pizza to be had anywhere in the North country
Blt burger was good. The oil the fries were cooked in was old, and took along time for food to be served, but it was ok
Dinning room closed. Noisy Bar. Hot day yet we had to ask for A/C to be turned on. Out of standard menu items. Food Ok
Best pizza around!!
A bit pricey but excellent food
LOVE there pizza
Greatest pizza north of NYC!
Slow paced service but awesome at the same time. What you'd expect from a small town restaurant
Good local restaurant, very popular on weekends. Basic, but tasty pasta, large protions.
I went here for a paint and sip. It was my first one and simply adored it! Can't wait to go again😊 the drinks were great and pizza was spectacular! Easy to see from road, accessible, and historic railroad memorabilia.🚂♥🎯🎨🍻🍹🍷🍕
Tried the meat lovers pizza and it was awesome.
Waited a while for the food and it doesn't all come out at once
Use to be a great place now the servive is horrible and they run out of everything
Simple, but not bad overall
Great pizza and wings to bad they are going to be closing up shop at the end of the month will miss this place
Pizza sauce tastes sour. Very overpriced for sub par fair
Been eating this pizza for over 40 years. It's the best!
Awesome food and service
Best pizza I've ever had. Going to miss it when it closes on sunday
